A different, green world, as Brian Eno once imagined. Mós Ensemble lives up to their name, pollinating every ear as one, growing, rampantly moving organism. Music as the matrix for spring dreams, for an arcadian adventure.
This Septet was founded by Beglian bassplayer Kobe Boon. Starting from Boon’s compositions, Astrid Creve & Marta del Grandi (voice), Benjamin Hermans & Ambroos De Schepper (reeds), Artan Buleshkaj (guitar) and Simon Raman (drums) create a very personal atmosphere, timbre & energy, a mòs sound. The colour of the female voice, the blend with the reeds & atypical use of this sound is one of the key elements.
Their debute ‘Limbs’ was released in winter 2019. It brings a mix of Eastern European choir, groovy krautpop & saxophone madness à la Rahsaan Roland Kirk.
A record unlimited by genre which now takes you to somekind of weird utopia, spiced with exotic herbs, then to a choatic hurricane. A varied record which is both celebral as organic.

“Mystiek en lichtjes betoverend. Abstract maar menselijk. An acquired taste, misschien, maar erg knap!” (Focus Knack)
“Een statement dat genremuurtjes ontwijkt, geen schrik heeft om hoog te mikken en zowel collectief als individueel sterke performances oplevert. Limbs is een veelkleurige, expressieve plaat en beschikt vooral over een luid kloppend hart, en dat is altijd iets waarmee je voorkomt dat je ongemerkt opgaat in een stroom van releases zoals we die vandaag kennen.” (Enola)
“Un album supernant et attachant” (Le Soir)
